'Black Mirror' - Season 6 Episode Release Dates, Cast, Trailer
Season 6 starts Thursday 15th June 2023 // Network: Netflix
Black Mirror Season 6 Official Synopsis
"Over the last ten years, technology has transformed almost every aspect of our lives before we've had time to stop and question it. In every home; on every desk; in every palm - a plasma screen; a monitor; a smartphone - a black mirror of our 21st Century existence. Black Mirror is a contemporary British re-working of The Twilight Zone with stories that tap into the collective unease about our modern world."
Why You Should Watch It
After a four-year hiatus, and then being announced almost out of the blue, Season Six of the much loved but darkly dystopian anthology series hits our screens. Charlie Brooker admits that he'd become bored of the not-that-happy-ending trope, and that the new run of five episodes would see a reset to the formula. So, if you want that slight feeling of unease about yourself, your life and everyone around you, this is the show for you!
Who Is In It?
Being an anthology series, where every single episode is stand alone, the list of actors, many of them household names, is too numerous to list.
"Bringing it all to life we’ve got an incredible roster of disgustingly skillful, smart directors working with a cast of actors so talented they frankly have no right to exist" Charlie Brooker, the series creator, writer and executive producer jokes.
In no particular order or organisation: Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, David Shields, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Paapa Essiedu, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Salma Hayek Pinault, Samuel Blenkin and Zazie Beetz.
When Will New 'Black Mirror' Episodes Be Released On Netflix?
Season 6 returns Thursday the 15th of June and it will be the most unpredictable season yet.
Brooker expands: "I've always felt that Black Mirror should feature stories that are entirely distinct from one another, and keep surprising people - and myself - or else what's the point? It should be a series that can't be easily defined, and can keep reinventing itself"

Unexpect The Expected
"Partly as a challenge, and partly to keep things fresh for both me and the viewer, I began this season by deliberately upending some of my own core assumptions about what to expect" says Charlie Brooker "Consequently, this time, alongside some of the more familiar Black Mirror tropes we've also got a few new elements, including some I've previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what ‘a Black Mirror episode' even is. The stories are all still tonally Black Mirror through-and-through - but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before."
