The sisters try to formulate a plan to help, and are surprised when Billie provides the answer. Meanwhile, Phoebe has a premonition about a catastrophic earthquake, and Leo is mistaken for a single dad.

Prison warden William Hendry is found brutalized after he drops off a large ransom payment for his wife, who had been kidnapped years earlier by an escaped convict. Eames and Goren track down Jenny Hendry, now living happily under a new name, and begin to realize that Hendry isn't the squeaky clean martyr that he's been portrayed as for years, especially once they discover that Jenny's supposed 'kidnapper' was originally hired by the warden to kill his wife.

Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo are lost at sea after their legion's ship was destroyed on their way to help Julius Caesar's army, though they have a chance encounter with someone they know. Meanwhile, Pompey decides to send order a full assault on Julius Caesar's camp in an attempt to destroy him once and for all, though the battle goes rather unexpectedly. Back in Rome, Atia is attempting to win the favor of Servilla as she believes Caesar will lose and she needs protection from a supporter of Pompey.
