In the series premiere episode of TRU CALLING, we meet Tru Davies, who suddenly discovers she can save lives. She is a smart and sexy recent college graduate who lands a job on the midnight shift at the city morgue.
On her first night, Tru questions reality when she hears a beautiful murder victim asking for her help. But the next morning, Tru wakes up to find that she is back at the beginning of that very same day - twelve hours before the woman's death that only Tru knows about.
Tru must use her newfound ability to go back in time so she can try to stop the tragedy before it actually happens, while at the same time rescuing members of her own family from their dangerous and self-destructive lives.

Depressed over his decision to leave Doctors Without Borders, Leo turns to a motivated Will to rekindle his love for New York. However, when Will's version of 'the best of New York' -- filled with long shopping trips and high tea -- doesn't do the trick, Leo decides to move in a different direction. Meanwhile, Jack teams up with his new coach Karen as they prepare for the annual gay spelling bee.

Luka's first day back in the ER is a busy one. While working out the details of his return with Weaver, he mentions that he'll be returning to the Congo in two months. Lewis treats an alcoholic mother who set herself on fire in front of her son, and an elderly architect who tried to commit suicide because he's going blind. Abby appears as a surgical consult as she's back in med school. Sam Taggart replaces her on the nursing staff. Dorset's wife calls while he's in surgery with Corday.

Malone searches for a missing woman whose description matches those of a series of murder victims from a 12-year-old case only to learn that Graham Spaulding is pulling the strings, and drawing on incidents in Jack's past to lure him into a trap.
