In order to earn a certificate for a month time off his sentence, Earl must end the war between two rival gangs at prison.

Meanwhile, Randy is looking for ways to join Earl in prison and finally finds one: becoming a prison guard.

Clark and Lois meet Smallville's newest arrival face-to-face, and she has some surprising news. Clark decides to leave Smallville and continue with his superhero training but Jor-El informs him that a new Kryptonian menace has arisen.

On Fei Long, Jean-Robert rubs the women the wrong way making the girls feel uncomfortable. After catching a small crab, the men argue how they'll use the crab meat. Over at Zhan Hu, Dave continues to do work around the camp without taking any rest which annoys Peih-Gee and the rest of the tribe.



At the Reward Challenge, blankets and pillows are up for grabs and after a number of rough wrestling matches, Zhan Hu wins the reward and their first challenge. After being kidnapped by Zhan Hu, Leslie feels welcomed and relaxed. Meanwhile at Fei Long, Courtney and Todd overhear Jean-Robert and James's game plan for who they would vote out next.



As a result of being kidnapped, Leslie shares the clue for the hidden immunity idol with Jaime, returning the favor. The Immunity Challenge is won by Zhan Hu and Fei Long is sent to Tribal Council for the first time. After returning from the challenge, the girls plan to vote Jean-Robert while Aaron says he can't trust Leslie.

Betty finds out a big secret about Wilhelmina's new bodyguard so Wilhelmina sets up a devil's bargain with Betty. Henry returns to work (for health insurance for his baby) and asks Betty if they can be friends. Because of the fatal crash, Alexis gets selective retro-grade amnesia and forgets that she had a sex change or any of the events with her parents. Bradford uses it to his advantage. Hilda comes to terms with recent events. Amanda gets a surprise inheritance from her late biological mother.

The CSI team investigates two unusual cases, one involving the suspicious death of a go-cart racer who took his hobby to the highway and paid the price with his life, and a murder at a hip new restaurant where patrons dine in the dark.

A patient is in the hospital because they fell asleep in a hazardous situation. A patient's home laboratory blew up in an apartment building and the victims flood the hospital. Alex investigates the cause of the incident by talking to an elderly resident of the apartment building. Jane Burke shows up to deal with what her son left behind. Lexie tries to talk to Meredith. Callie is overwhelmed by her new position while Bailey is searching for things to do.

Eames re-opens the case into her husband's murder.

Ryan returns to Scranton with a plan to bring Dunder Mifflin into the digital age by launching a new website— Dunder Mifflin Infinity. Michael is worried about ageism and attempts to win back clients using old fashioned business skills. Relationships are on the forefront as Ryan returns to an eager Kelly, Jim and Pam are outed to the office, and Angela is still upset with Dwight about her cat, Sprinkles.

When the gates to Hell open, seven of the demons take up shop in Lincoln, Nebraska, and start a string of bizarre killings. Two hunters, Tamara and Isaac, help Sam and Dean take care of the demons, but soon find they're being hunted as well. A mysterious blonde woman with a mystic knife also comes to their aid, but it's not clear who she's working for.

Liz's excitement to see Jack quickly fades as he insists that she's still not over Floyd. Meanwhile, Jerry Seinfeld shows up at Jack's office in an upset mood after Jack announces his plan to use footage from Seinfeld to install Jerry into every current show on NBC, a strategy which he calls "SeinfeldVision". Finally, Kenneth becomes Tracy's office wife when Tracy separates from his wife, and Jenna returns to set a whole lot heavier now that she has been involved in Mystic Pizza: The Musical!.

Moretti makes his presence felt as he implements changes in the way patients are seen. Abby and Dubenko differ on how to proceed when a patient comes in with a bullet in him needed as evidence. Pratt complains to Anspaugh about the new Chief. Neela is released from the hospital. Abby has passport woes, and also struggles with the changes being made by Moretti. Hope prepares for a new mission, one Morris is not too happy about. Gates helps, and is helped by, a child prodigy in the ICU. Sam, Chuny and Dawn go "speed dating."

James decides to do whatever he can to save his marriage, but more pressure is thrown in the mix when new suspicions arise concerning the death of his former boss. Duncan tries to woo a beautiful reporter in order to put an end to a potential career-ending article she's writing. Wendy, Karl's wife, has Marla join them in a couples' therapy session. Lastly, Brody works to spice up his sex life with his wife.

In the series' first season finale, two rival street gangs bring their turf war into the hospital resulting in a deadly shoot-out that leaves several lives in peril. Jason catches Jolene with a syringe in her hands. Patrick tells Robin that because of what happened doesn't mean that he doesn't still care about her. Jason tells everyone to get behind the desk as someone stands up and starts shooting.

Tonight, the Justice Department's head of the Office of Legal Counsel who advised President Bush on the limits of executive power and the author of The Terror Presidency: Law and Judgment Inside the Bush Administration, Jack Goldsmith.

The SCHIP bill would have given 2-4 million kids health care and would be paid for by a tax on cigarettes. Senior Healthcare Analyst John Oliver talks to Jon from 19th century London in a Dickensian hellscape of child run factories and orphanages about why Londoners of that era support Bush's veto of SCHIP.
