With the Thanksgiving holiday just two weeks away, Eric and the kids notice that Annie is acting very strange, especially after she learns that Matt and Sarah (guest-star Sarah Danielle Madison) won't be able to spend the holidays in Glenoak. When Matt and Sarah decide to come by early and spend some time with the family before the holiday Annie is not pleased. In fact, the majority of the family has made plans of their own and Eric worries how Annie will take the news. Carlos (guest-star Carlos Ponce) telephones the Camden's and tells them that he, Mary and baby Charles are going to spend the holiday in Puerto Rico with Carlos' family and wants Ruthie to join them. Meanwhile, Simon has something to tell his parents, but can't get up the nerve to tell them - which involves his former girlfriend Georgia who shows up back in his life unexpectedly. Instead he decides to stay at school for work. Also, Martin has plans to go camping with Mac (guest-star Kyle Searles). Lastly, a strong-willed and pregnant Lucy is determined to do the cooking and decorating this year but forgets to tell Annie about her plans.

Ephram seeks guidance from his and piano mentor, Will Cleveland (guest-star James Earl Jones) when he's struggling to select the music program for his Julliard audition tape. Things don't go well for Ephram as he faces losing one of the most important relationships in his life after he accidentally hurts Will's feelings. Meanwhile, Bright takes a job working at the restaurant, "The Firehouse" where he meets waitress Serena. Things go bad though when they get caught by their boss in the most compromising position in the closet.
Lastly, Andy and Amanda experience a miraculous breakthrough in their music therapy with Amanda's husband (guest-star Jason Beghe), but Andy quickly questions the results.

Alan meets a woman named Nancy at a grocery store, who fulfills every single one of his desires, forcing Charlie to take care of Jake. After knowing Nancy for a few days Alan decides to ask her to marry him, prompting Charlie to try and talk him out of it, and he even gets help from the brothers' mother.

A murder investigation takes Horatio and the team into the world of speed dating. Richard Laken is found killed by a tire iron outside a lounge following an evening of speed-dating. The team discovers his car is covered with acetone, which traces back to one of the female guests. She reveals that she dated Laken and he dumped her, so she doused his car with nail polish remover for revenge, but she didn't kill him. Now, when Horatio and the team learn that Laken recently witnessed a serious assault at a Miami Heat basketball game, they are on the hunt for two perps instead of one.

When a piece of priceless artwork is stolen from the hotel Ed must use Jack Keller to help him find it, but Jack can not be trusted will he help Ed get the painting back or will he once again screw him over? Danny and Mike must deal with a problem at their rental house when a lover's quarrel turns bad.

While Ichigo is fighting with the modified soul Rukia gets a message on her spirit phone about a nearby Hollow. Ichigo and the mod soul then defeat the Hollow together. Shortly after this happens Urahara removes the mod soul from Ichigo's body. Instead of getting the mod soul destroyed Ichigo places it in a stuffed animal and gives it the name Kon.
