For Woody the case hits close to home after he and Jordan undercover bodies from a mass grave. After they get the identity of the first body they discover they have a mob hit Woody later learns his brother Calvin needs a lot of money to hide the truth about what he really knows. Woody's suspicions about his brother are confirmed when his cell phone rings and a man answers the phone. Jordan tries getting Woody and Calvin close together but things begin to get dangerous when the monster Calvin is trying to get money for captures them.

Doc discusses the possibility of surgery with Al, but he is terrified of actually doing the operation. Woolcot's favorite whore, and the Lawrence County Commissioner arrive in camp, stirring up the pot even further. A new Chinese opium dealer sells to Tolliver, and sets up a partnership with Cy in a Chinese brothel. Wu comes to Al for help, finding him disposed, and Dan clueless.

Maisy Gibbons' (guest-star Sharon Lawrence) series of unfortunate events shock the residents of Wisteria Lane when she is finally caught and arrested for prostitution. This leaves unexpected consequences for Bree and Rex when Maisy's little black book becomes public of all her clients---including Rex for all the neighbors to see.

Meredith also gets a surprise when she realizes that her friend from the night before is a co-worker, and even worse, her boss.

When Phoebe Morton is murdered while on the phone with a 9-1-1 operator, Goren and Eames take the case and soon realize Morton is one of five women murdered with a similar connection: the killer known as Body By Jake (B.B.J.). Their investigation leads them to Keith Durbin, a recently released parolee who appears to be perfect. Goren has his suspicions about Durbin, who doesn't seem right to him. When they learn there are similar earlier murders, Goren and Eames focus their attention on a new suspect, and realize, although he's not guilty, Durbin is the key.

Alice pushes Dana to break up with Tonya, but Dana isn't prepared for when Tonya reveals her own secret. Tina considers her new attraction to Helena, Kit finally hooks up with Benjamin, and Jenny and Carmen continue to enjoy each other's company.

Samson devises a grand plan by scheming with Ben, Jones, and the entire troupe to lure Brother Justin to Carnivale for his confrontation with Ben. Meanwhile, Stroud wants to protect Justin who correctly suspects that the carnival is setting a trap for him. Sofie finds herself locked in a dark shed after she tells Justin her conflicted thoughts about where her loyalties lay, and soon becomes terrorized by ghostly visions of her mother. Rita Sue is touched by Samson's generosity of giving her the money needed to pay off Stumpy's loan shark. Later, the final confrontation approaches when Brother Justin persuades Iris to overcome her fear of heights by riding the Carnivale Ferris Wheel where Jones traps both of them in for Ben to drain Justin's powers, and Ben performs his most important healing of Reverend Balthus, leading to Ben and Justin finally meeting face-to-face, and the visions of Ben and Justin becoming full circle. At the same time, Joney sets out to rescue Sofie from Stroud, but soon realizes (way too late) that she has made her choice to which side her loyalties are.

Movie plot twists are spoiled; Beavis and Butthead destroy the Teen Titans; the cheesiest funeral comedy sketch ever; the Great Pumpkin destroys the Peanuts.
