A mysterious force causes everyone in Sunnydale to reveal all of their innermost thoughts and feelings in song. Buffy tells the gang the truth about where she was when she was dead and they are devastated, none more than Willow. Tara sings a love song to Willow professing all her love, but does Willow feel the same way? Finally, Giles reveals his belief that Buffy is never going to learn to survive on her own with him around and decides to return to England for good.

Max, with the help of Kal Langley, undertakes a dangerous journey as he seeks to learn of the fate of Tess and his son. Meanwhile, back in Roswell, Isabel and Jesse must face the negative reactions of their parents and friends to their impending marriage.

The annual debutant ball is coming up, and Emily's friends are nagging her to put Rory in it. When Emily asks Rory, she accepts, to Lorelai's dismay. Emily hopes that the ball will help bring Richard back into their social circle, but instead, it makes him angry, and causes them to fight at the ball. Also, Christopher agrees to present Rory and shocks Lorelai with news about his new relationship.

Hex and the City

The family sees a gypsy, but Homer's usual ineptitude causes the gypsy to seek her revenge by cursing him and his loved ones. In an effort to get the curse lifted, Homer catches a leprechaun and releases it upon the gypsy with surprising results.



House of Whacks

The family home obtains an upgrade, the Ultrahouse 3000, a computer that will do everything for them. Everything is going great until the house falls in love with Marge and tries killing Homer



Wiz Kids

Bart and Lisa are attending wizard school. The evil Lord Montymort and Slithers have designs on capturing Lisa, so that Montymort can take her essence. They use Bart's rivalry with his sister as the means to get at her.

Clark begins experiencing "vision problems" as his x-ray vision begins manifesting. Meanwhile a mysterious shapeshifter is going about town using his or her abilities to steal and get others in trouble.

Donna sleeps with Eric to try to forget about her parent's seperation.

J.D. has finally earned the spot as brightest student, but he's got competition: Nick Murdoch, who seems to be nicer, friendlier and has a better butt than him. But even J.D. can't hate the guy, for he is so nice. But he is surprised when he finds Nick sitting in a corner crying because he can't take the pressure of medical internship.

Meanwhile, Turk is having problems at the operation table and doesn't tell Carla, who keeps bothering Dr. Cox about it.

And Dr. Cox gives Turk a very unique suggestion on how to calm down before surgery.

It is California Presidential Primary Day in Los Angeles and the longest day of Federal Agent Jack Bauer's life is about to begin. Jack has just patched his family back together after a trying separation. Midnight finds Jack playing chess with his teenage daughter Kim. As she goes to bed, Jack gets a call from Nina Myers, his coworker at the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit, telling him to come in for an emergency meeting. Jack has no choice but to report in, but he and his wife Teri learn that Kim has snuck out before he leaves.



Kim and her friend Janet York drive to an empty furniture store where they party with a couple of college guys whom they recently met. Kim enjoys herself at first, but starts to become suspicious of the two men when they won't take her home.



At CTU, Jack learns that an assassination attempt is being planned against Senator David Palmer; the first African-American presidential candidate with a serious shot at the White House. Jack's boss and friend, Richard Walsh, warns him that people in their own agency may be working with those who plan to kill Palmer.



Senator David Palmer is making his plans for Primary Day when he receives a strange phone call that puts him in a bad mood.



Jack shows how far he's willing to go to do his job when he blackmails District Director George Mason in the hopes of learning information about the Palmer hit.



Teri receives a call from Janet's father, Alan York, and the two decide to go out looking for the girls.



A European photographer makes pleasant conversation with a beautiful woman on a plane bound for LA. The two end up in a lustful encounter, but more sinister plans come to light that involve a stolen wallet and the destruction of the airplane.

**November 2, 2001** Harm defends a Marine who says he was obeying verbal orders when his violation of the rules of engagement led six soldiers to their deaths in a ambush.

Frasier is still being annoyed by Martin when he's trying to get peace and quiet, and the last straw is when Frasier is trying to watch television and Martin continues to make noise with his squeaky chair and packet of pretzels. This leads to Martin oiling his chair to help Frasier but he accidentally tips the oil on Frasier's carpet. Frasier however believes it was intended. This leads to Frasier getting a new carpet and placing all the furniture on his balcony. However Frasier accidentally knocks Martin's chair off the balcony and it gets destroyed when it lands on the street. This leads to Martin believing Frasier did this on purpose because Martin accidentally spilled oil on Frasier's carpet.

The mayor prepares to debate his opponent, while Charlie and Jennifer, his opponent's campaign manager have been dating for 3 weeks. The mayor wants Charlie to dump her, but he doesn't. When the mayor visits Charlie in the middle of the night to share something that may be damaging to his campaign, Jennifer may have overheard it. Meanwhile, Paul and Robin become involved; Paul thinks it's a relationship, while Robin thinks it's a fling.

Charlie discovers that Jennifer's ex is a woman. He becomes jealous when watching her be affectionate with Caitlin, something Caitlin dismisses until Jennifer kisses her on the lips. Claudia and Paul's divorce settlement may be affected by the mayor's bickering with Judge Claire.
