More potential Slayers arrive at the house and one of them, Eve, creates tension as she openly voices their fear that Buffy alone cannot save them. Buffy and Xander discover the body of the real Eve and rush home to confront The First, and she warns them that the Turok-Han will be coming for them and disappears. Willow creates a barrier to keep it out, but it isn't strong enough. Buffy runs one way as bait, while the rest of the gang escorts the potential slayers to Xander's construction site to hide. The Turok-Han arrives at the site, but Buffy gets there just in time. She defeats Turok-Han and boosts the potentials confidence, but Spike is still missing.

Paul and Cate are shocked when they are called into the principal's office and informed that Bridget wants to skip her college prep classes in order to become an esthetician. Meanwhile, Paul is so impressed with Kerry's sketches of ''The Incredible Boring Woman'' that he gets the principal to print them in the school newspaper -- not realizing that the principal is the boring woman in question.

Frasier mistakenly receives some of Cam Winston's mail, including a mysterious invitation to an exclusive locale. Frasier and Niles are surprised to have been left out of the loop about this new hot spot, and become obsessed with finding out more information. Frasier heads to the address on the invitation, but cannot get the receptionist to tell him anything. Niles finally shows up and poses as Cam, and is told that the business is a spa. He and Frasier enjoy all of the amenities, but are disturbed to learn that the spa has a "gold level" area to which they are denied access. They constantly complain about being left out. Roz believes that they only care about the gold level because they are not allowed there, but uses her connections to a senator who has a membership to get them inside. The brothers are appeased, until they spot a platinum door. They ignore an attendant's warning and barge through the door, but aren't too happy with the result. Meanwhile, Daphne ruins Martin's enjoyment of The Rockford Files when she says that he reminds her of Rockford's father, rather than the title character.

While Vic searches for his wife and children, the Strike Team has increased the number of drug shipments they allow to come into the Farmington district through their corrupt U.S. Customs contact. The newest shipment turns out to be poisoned and Vic and the Strike Team are forced to go to Tijuana to track down the man responsible, Navaro Quintero, and retrieve their money from him. Meanwhile, Dutch and Claudette investigate brutal murders committed by Navaro's brother, Armadillo, in his bid to unify Farmington street gangs under his leadership. With the help of a seasoned Tijuana policeman, Vic finds Navaro then kidnaps him and extorts his money back by using Armadillo's brutal tactics. He then smuggles Navaro over the U.S. border and arrests him. Meanwhile as Julien teaches a young offender the difference between right and wrong, he falls for and decides to ask his mother out for a date.
